The Zen of Python

Pythonのインタプリタでimport thisとタイプすると、素敵な文章が見れることを知った。importは、プログラムにライブラリを読み込むコマンド。

「The Zen of Python」と呼ばれるPythonの精神みたいなものらしい。個人的には賛同しかねる部分もあるんだけど、なかなか面白いなと思った。

一見ランダムに見える暗号化された文字列に、複合化処理を施してやって、先のメッセージが作成されている様子。凝ったことしてるなあ。

そういえば、以前会社のチーム飲みの席で、
「Python楽しいですよーZopeとかJythonとかあって、Jythonならうちの製品でも使えますよー」
と話題にしてみると、
「Python？なにそれ？」
な反応が返ってきて逆にひいたことがある。まあ今の仕事で明日明後日使うようなものではないんだけど、自分の中でいろいろ冷めた瞬間だった。
